| Formed in Leeds, UK in 1999. 21 7" singles and 5 full-length album releases later, The NMS are now popping up on the US jam-band scene alongside the likes of Galactic, Papa Mali, Greyboy Allstars, etc.. |

| Current live line-up is Eddie Roberts (guitarist and bandleader), Simon Allen (drummer and chatterbox), Pete Shand (bass), Joe Tatton (Hammond & Rhodes), Rob Lavers (sax & flute). Ex-members include Bob Birch (8 years of service on Hammond), Sam Bell (occasional guest percussionist), Cleve Freckleton (growling soul frontman), and the Haggis Horns (renegade Scotsmen, regularly fired by the likes of Amy Winehouse and Corinne Bailey Rae for their rock n roll excesses on the road) |
